Household chores can be a nuisance but none more so than the ongoing cycle of washing and drying the laundry. These days we are lucky there are many appliances to help with the ever-increasing piles of clothes, bed sheets and towels. The washing machine is one appliance I would miss, but not so the tumble dryer.
Far from being an essential piece of equipment I think of my tumble dryer as a money guzzler, it uses vast amounts of electricity and shortens the life span of my clothes causing elastic to loosen and fabrics to become threadbare. Tumble dryers should only be used in an emergency drying situation.
